| BRANT LYON is a writer of prose, poetry, and music. He believes that the last two, though first cousins, should marry, and encourages their betrothal hosting his monthly reading series, Hydrogen Jukebox. As an ‘artivist’ frequently performing at peace concerts and university events around the U.S., or on radio, he also avers that “a rose without thorns isn’t worth sniffing,” so inhales deeply but with care. He is associate editor for Uphook Press and BigCityLit. His most recent or forthcoming publications include poetry/fiction/etc. in Red Wheelbarrow Poets Anthology (vols. I & II), Beyond the Rift, Ganymede, BigCityLit, Cyrano’s Journal, and his poemusic CD, Brant Lyon & Friends: Beauty Keeps Laying Its Sharp Knife Against Me. |
